The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for Fitness Instructors to lead various group classes including Yoga, Portable Equipment, Choreography/step, Cycle and Dance.

Qualifications

• Candidates must hold current Group Exercise Leadership Certification (Alberta Fitness AFLCA, Canfit-Pro or equivalent).
• We are currently looking for candidates Yoga, Barre, Zumba and Aquafit certifications.
• Applicants must hold current CPR certification.
• Past instructing experience in group setting is preferred.
• We are looking for motivated, dependable, positive and energetic individuals.

Hours of Work

Hours of work are weekday early mornings
(5:30 -6:45 a.m.), mornings (9:00 – 11:00 a.m.), evenings (4:30 – 9 p.m.) and weekends (8:00 - 12:00 pm.)

Compensation

The hourly wage range as a Group/Speciality Fitness Instructors is $30.00- $55.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

A separate wage range will apply for additional positions such as:
Aquatics Fitness Instructor $34.00 - $46.00 per hour
Pilates Instructor $45.00 - $70.00 per hour
Yoga Instructor $45.00 - $70.00 per hour
Zumba Instructor $45.00 - $70.00 per hour

Conditions of Employment

  • The successful applicant will be required to obtain/maintain a vulnerable sector police information check.
  • The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of educational and professional credentials.
