Job Details The City of St. Albert is recruiting individuals to join our Recreation & Parks department as Aquatics Fitness Instructors. Reporting to a Recreation Program Coordinator, this position will be responsible for delivering Aquafit Classes to a wide range of clientele. Our team offers aquatic fitness classes during the daytime, evening, and weekends year-round. We want people on our team who are reliable, responsive to customer needs and excellent at building relationships. Qualifications Aquatic Fitness Leadership Certification (Fitness Alberta (AFLCA), Water Art, YMCA or Can Fit Pro Certification). Current Standard First Aid Certification. Preference will be given to those with prior instruction experience.We are looking for motivated and energetic individuals who have good leadership and teaching abilities. Hours of Work Aquafit classes are held during the following times:Fountain ParkSummer: Monday – Friday, 8 – 9 am and 12 – 1 pm.Fall: Monday – Friday from 7 – 8 am, 8 – 9 am, 11 – 12 pm, 12 – 1 pm and 8 – 9 pm. Saturdays from 8 – 9 am Servus Place Monday – Friday from 8 – 9 am and 9 – 10 am Compensation The wage ranges from $34.00 - $46.00 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
