The Opportunity

The City of St. Albert Recreation and Parks department offers a number of high-quality programs to residents of our community, and we are currently recruiting for an Instructor to deliver a Learn to Disc Golf program.

As a Learn to Disc Golf Instructor you will deliver a recreational disc golf program. The program consists of progressive levels of disc golf skills and activities over 6 weeks. Instructors will be required to prepare and implement lesson plans in a fun and engaging environment.

Specific Instructor duties include program planning, greeting participants, instruction of skill development, equipment set up and preparation, and clean up of assigned spaces.

Qualifications

• Confident disc golf skills.
• Preference of at least 3 years of experience planning and delivering recreation disc golf programs.
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C with AED certifications are required.

Hours of Work

Shifts available from May 22 to June 26, 2025, with the possibility of extension.

Thursdays from 5:30 – 7:30 pm.
Outdoors at Kingswood Park.

Compensation

Starting at $21.43 per hour for Instructors.

Conditions of Employment

  • The successful applicant will be required to obtain/maintain a satisfactory vulnerable sector police information check.
