Servus Credit Union Place ( is a part of the community of St. Albert; a place where residents gather to pursue healthy living. The facility hosts 2,700 members and guests daily in over 320,000 square feet of leisure and fitness space including ice surfaces, two soccer field houses, a Fitness and Wellness Centre, track, gymnasium and meeting rooms.

The Opportunity:

The Fitness and Wellness team at Servus Credit Union Place are dedicated to creating innovative recreation and fitness programs in our state of the art facility.

We are currently accepting applications for Instructors to lead various classes including Yoga, Barre, Zumba and Aquafit.


• Candidates must hold current Group Exercise Leadership Certification (AFLCA or equivalent).
• We are currently looking for candidates Yoga, Barre, Zumba and Aquafit certifications.
• Applicants must hold current CPR certification.
• Past instructing experience in group setting is preferred.
• We are looking for motivated, dependable, positive and energetic individuals.

Hours of Work:

Hours of work are weekday early mornings (5:30 -6:45 a.m.), mornings (9:00 – 11:00 a.m.), evenings (4:30 – 9 p.m.) and weekends (9:30 - 10:30 a.m., 10:30 - 11:30 a.m.)


$30.00 -$70.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

• To keep our employees, their families and the public safe and healthy, the City has decided to apply the Provincial Restriction Exemption Program standards with some modifications for employees starting September 27, 2021. New Employees joining the City on or after September 27, 2021, must have one approved dose. Employees joining after October 25, 2021, must be fully vaccinated. Proof of vaccination provided by Alberta Health Services will be required prior to start. Exemptions may be considered but will need to be reviewed and validated before commencing work with the City of St. Albert. Those with approved exemptions will be required to submit negative test results twice a week before entering a City worksite.
• The successful applicant will be required to obtain a vulnerable sector police information check.
