The Opportunity

The City of St. Albert is recruiting an individuals to join our Recreation and Parks department as a Recreation Leader to facilitate Bouncin’ Birthday Parties and supervise drop-in inflatable time starting in April 2024.

As a Recreation Leader you will be involved in the set-up and take-down of inflatables, party and drop-in supervision ensuring the safety of participants, initiating games, light cleaning duties, providing exceptional customer service to patrons and participants.

Qualifications

• Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification is required prior to starting.
• Applicants must possess strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills are necessary to address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns.
• A passion for creating a fun environment and delivering excellent service is essential.

Hours of Work

The scheduling for these positions primarily occurs on weekend afternoons and weekday evenings, with the possibility of additional times based on demand and availability.

Compensation

$16.63 - $20.12 per hour based on qualifications and experience.

Conditions of Employment

  • The successful applicant will be required to obtain a clear vulnerable sector police information check.
  • The successful candidate will be required to provide proof of educational and professional credentials.
